Caroline is a psychologist and psychotherapist. She favours an empathic mode of enquiry promoting understanding and exploration of each person’s emotional experience in order to foster choice in decision making and a sense of safety in relationships.

People who are struggling with emotional difficulties stemming from trauma and its fallout, sexual and relationship issues, bereavement, anxiety and depression may find that, using a sustained therapeutic relationship, greater self-awareness and understanding brings deep and lasting change.

Caroline has had many years experience as a PREPARE pre-marriage educator. PREPARE uses a brief, structured format designed to assist couples explore important areas of their relationship prior to marriage. It has a long history of effective application and is used widely throughout Australia.

Caroline has experience in counselling survivors of extreme trauma and their descendants. She has a deep understanding of the importance of spirituality in many people’s lives.

Caroline provides professional supervision focused on understanding and working within a self psychological model.
